Positive: Beautiful location, with historic house set amidst extensive gardens with veteran trees. Swimming pool and drinks and meals overlooking the gardens. Excellent wifi and very comfortable rooms overlooking the gardens. The star feature was the amazing food. Take dinner in house if you can, simply to savour Clémence's incredible cooking (her chef training is evident, and she coped with my allergies magnficently).
Summary: Wonderful atmospheric stay, with tremendous food - the perfect place for an overnight from the UK
